  After reading the reviews I feel like maybe my building was the only good one? I loved the apartment and my balcony faced the woods, which was great for privacy and you could see the wildlife. I've only been here a year and would have liked to have stayed longer but the massive increase in the rent does not make the apartment worth it, especially with no washer/dryer hook ups and having to also pay to do laundry...which the washing machines were broke most of the time. So I just bought a portable washer that fit in the tub when it was time to do laundry.
  
  The apartments are close to everything; trails, shopping, grocery stores, etc. Loved that it was on the metro line too and the bus stop is right at the top of the hill. So we would take the metro bus to the train and spend the day at the Smithsonian or the Zoo.
  
  It was a great living experience, my apartment was nice, but they are charging way more than it is worth.

  I was staying here as a guest a few yrs ago and i guess I parked one spot over from visitor... got towed and had to pay over 200 bucks on a weekend to get my car back. You would think they would see your plate is from Canada and give ya a warning at least! Terrible way to handle it!
  
  Edit.... How would I be able to visit the leasing office when I don't even live in Virginia??? You people didn't care then when I brought up the towing issue to the leasing office and you don't care now, trying to look "concerned" isn't gonna convince me or others that read this that you guys are genuinely concerned ... my girlfriend at the time even secured me a guest pass and I still got towed which is why I didn't park in the visitor spot in the first place .... Send me the 250 USD tow charge I incurred to me in Canada ... that'll be a good start !!!!
